I was out walking my dog on a Sunday evening, giggling to myself over the horrible noises coming from the local church’s outdoor speakers. Next thing I knew, a character was there in my head, telling me a story that started on an evening very much like that one…

What is a one-sentence synopsis for your book?

When young vampire Shivva suspects that a respected Elder is involved in criminal activities that threaten to expose their entire society, she has to decide whether to trust her untested instincts or her years of training– and making the wrong choice will mean losing everything

Will your book be self-published, or represented by an agency?

I have no plans to seek representation for my work at this time. If this one sees the light of day, it’ll be self-published.

How long did it take to write the first draft of your manuscript?

About a year, all told, but I’d shelved it for most of that time. Resurrection was just a project I started on a whim, as a break from my Fantasy writing. I came back to it after a long break, loved it, and decided it deserved to be finished.

What else about the book might pique the reader’s interest?

Hmm… let’s see. Sexy vampires who don’t want to date the living? Vamp-venom addicted humans? Murder? Mystery? Fast-paced storytelling and hot bite scenes? Betrayal? Lust?

Nothing anyone around here would be interested in, I’m sure.

NOTE: This title may be published under a pen name, but I’ll let everyone know if that becomes a thing. 🙂
