Hey, I’m actually ahead of the game so far! I passed the 6,000 word mark last night. It shouldn’t have taken as many hours as it did- I wish I could do something about how easily distracted I am. What would be one hour if I could just focus on writing and nothing else turns into three when everything else gets added in. I have kids, my brain doesn’t work unless it’s multitasking. I know, cry you a river, right?
I posted an excerpt for the first time ever on my NaNo profile. Remember how I said I was hard on myself about first drafts? This is why I’ve never shared one. But there’s part of one scene there, and it’s OK. Baby steps…
