Today was AWESOME!

Wow, good day today! I had a little headache thanks to the nice, sunny weather, but I’ll let that go. Because…

-the kids slept until 8:00 this morning.

-it was sunny and 12 degrees (Celsius) outside today.

– AND… (redacted to preserve PG rating)

-I took Jack for a long and challenging (for me) walk. Got sweaty and a little sunburned BUT we had a good walk AND…

-a bald eagle flew right over us! So amazing.

-AND… I got to go to a Jamberry nails party on facebook. I realized that a party with no other actual people around is actually the perfect party for me. My mom also attended, so we kind of got to go shopping together from half a country away. Aww.

-AND I washed the car for the first time since the garden hose froze. I’d forgotten how very silver Tina Fe was under all of that dirt.

-AND I started editing another favourite part of Bound. OK, so I have too many favourites, but there’s feelings in this part, yo. Good feelings. Confusing feelings. Also children in ridiculous costumes punching each other, which can’t be a bad thing.

And with that, I go off to bed. The children are asleep, no one is coughing, this Tension Tamer tea is very delicious (and has a dragon the box, so hooray for that), the Advil will be working soon, the laundry is folded, and I’m going to go dream me some dreamy dreams.

Goodnight!

Sounds like a wonderful day. And isn’t it lovely to get to a good part in a novel–one you’re stoked to write?

So glad you had a good day! I love it when you get to the part of writing that you feel just flows naturally!

Sounds like a fabulous day! We very nearly got to 20 C (we hit around 66 F) yesterday. Of course, that was just to tease us. It’s supposed to be 15-20 normally. My BFF has been out of town and was a little surprised when she heard the heater had been on (oh sure, enjoy your 25 C in San Francisco). When it’s 0 C at night, well… just saying. (Are you impressed with my F to C conversion? Oh yeah, did an 8 month stint in Japan and have a rough conversion system in my head. Plus I work with a lot of international peeps currently.)

Um, can I just say for you BEST DAY EVAAAAAA! I’m so glad you had such a great day. My weekend was pretty decent too. I mean it included some delicious shawarma and some of the best halibut I’ve ever had! (And in Utah, that’s a freakin’ miracle. Our fish is usually not so much on the good side).

Hope your week continues into the same awesomeness!

I’m VERY impressed with your conversion skills! I always have to refer to google for that. Jealous of the shawarma– there’s absolutely nowhere here to get it. We were so spoiled when we lived in Ontario, we had it once a week.

Crap, I just drooled everywhere. -_-

*hands over some paper towels* My system is easy (at least in my mind). If you know 0 C is about 30 F and go up 10 degrees in F for every 5 in C, you’re pretty darn close. Plus 20-25 C (70-80 F) is my favorite temperature area, so it’s easier for me to remember those numbers. Oh! New inspiration. I dislike getting into 90F which is 30C so maybe you could say 30F is the extreme cold but 30C is the extreme hot. lol, I’m sure this only makes sense in my brain! Sorry for the rambling. 😉 More paper towels?
