HI HARRIET!!! 🙂
April 11th, 2013 at 9:24 am
Hilarious!!! Just make sure Harriet didn’t delete your name in favor of her own!
April 11th, 2013 at 9:40 am
I’m actually more concerned that I’ll read through and all of the dialogue will be changed to “NEARFFF! NOW! MREH!”
(Harriet makes weird noises…)
April 11th, 2013 at 9:28 am
Cutie 🙂
April 11th, 2013 at 10:37 am
I thought she would say, “Needs more cats. Or Cumberbuns.” 😉
April 11th, 2013 at 10:38 am
It is a little short on cats– there were a few in early drafts, but they got cut. There’s still a dog, though, and chickens… maybe that IS what she’s upset about!
April 11th, 2013 at 10:57 am
Aw, girl, you’re having your cat read a story that has a dog and no cats? I’m surprised she didn’t delete the whole thing. You know cats got issues.
April 11th, 2013 at 11:00 am
I didn’t actually say she could read it. Cats just do what they want, you know?
April 11th, 2013 at 11:03 am
Maybe she pulled the story out through osmosis. She does climb on top of your head sometimes right? Cats are sneaky…
April 11th, 2013 at 11:05 am
Actually, it’s Lucy that gets on my head– Harriet’s been too broken since her little run-in with a car (sidenote: MY POOR BAY-BEE!!!!). So maybe there’s some kind of feline chain-osmosis there. Hmm…

(Ack! Poor kitty!) Somehow that reminds me of Eerie Indiana. Did you ever watch that show? There was one episode where a kid who had braces could read dogs’ minds. It was super creepy—but often so was that show.
April 11th, 2013 at 11:12 am
I DO (vaguely) remember that show! We really liked it (we meaning me and my brother). Don’t remember that one specifically, though. Sounds spooky.
I wouldn’t want to read dogs’ minds. I already know what mine is thinking. “Oh, boy, a new crotch to sniff! You gonna pet me, too? YOU’RE MY NEW BEST FRIEND OMG BFFs FUR-EVAR!!! Wait, who’s that? That person has a butt! Must sniff! Hey, is that a hot dog? Can I have some? Does it contain real dog? Do I even care? MEAT!!! *crash* Zzzzzzz…”

This made me laugh. Thanks.

I love this post.

Yes, what is wrong with you…why do you keep looking at me and not the monitor while writing???
April 12th, 2013 at 4:59 pm
Love it! No one does disdain like a cat. 😉
April 13th, 2013 at 7:13 am
It’s true. And yet, I love them…

Aww, thanks! I’ll take a look. I don’t know if I can come up with enough blogs under 200 followers to nominate, though… 🙂

No worries. I must admit that was the hardest part! Good luck. 🙂
